TERMS OF SERVICE
At Paws & Peculiars Pet Care, we’re committed to providing loving, reliable, and species-appropriate care for every kind of companion. To ensure the best experience for you and your pets, please review the following guidelines:
Pet Information & Safety:
All pets must have a completed pet profile on file including:
Medical conditions or medications
Feeding and behavioural routines
Emergency contacts, vet details, and emergency requests
Dogs must be collar/harness trained and be up to date on core vaccines
Reactive or aggressive pets must be assessed and approved
Scheduling & Cancellations:
Bookings must be confirmed at least 24-48hrs in advance
Any cancellations made within 24 hours of service may be subject to a cancellation fee
Last minute services may be accepted when availability permits and are subject to a rush fee
Home visits & access:
Please ensure we have reliable access to your home (key, lockbox, smart lock)
Homes must be safe, tidy, and pet-proofed during our visits
We are not responsible for property damage caused by pets while unsupervised
Exotic Animal Care:
We welcome reptiles, amphibians, birds, and other exotic species
Please provide detailed care instructions, heating/lighting needs, and feeding routines
For uncommon or high-maintenance species, a pre-visit consultation may be required
Hygiene & Clean-up:
We clean up after pets during walks and visits (litter, accidents, enclosures)
Please provide cleaning supplies and extra litter/bedding if applicable
For medical messes or infestations, an additional sanitation fee may apply
Payment Policies:
Payments are due within 24hrs prior to service, refunds will be provided following our cancellation guidelines
We accept cash or e-transfer
Our commitment:
Your pets comfort, health, and happiness are our top priorities
If requested, we provide daily updates via text or email with photos and notes
If we notice anything unusual (illness, stress, behaviour changes) you will be notified immediately
